Billie Eilish gave a beachside performance of “Birds of a Feather” during the closing ceremony of the 2024 Olympics, joining a performance lineup that included Snoop Dogg, Red Hot Chili Peppers and H.E.R.

Dressed in an official Team USA polo, Eilish was joined by her brother and creative partner Finneas for the performance, which took place on a watchtower overlooking the ocean. Of course, Eilish’s performance comes in anticipation of the 2028 Olympics, which are scheduled to take place in her hometown of Los Angeles. Eilish hails from Highland Park, a neighborhood on the city’s Eastside.

Eilish most recently released her third studio album, “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” in May. Though she didn’t release any singles ahead of the album’s release, “Birds of a Feather” became a clear frontrunner, gaining traction on streaming and the charts ahead of her suggestive song “Lunch.”

Eilish has recently been on a promotional whirlwind following the release of “Hit Me Hard and Soft.” She’s gearing up to hit the road on her international tour that kicks off on Sept. 29 in Quebec, with three sold-out dates at New York City’s Madison Square Garden and at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum. Eilish is scheduled to take a break in December after her North American leg of the tour before picking it back up in February for a string of dates in Australia and Europe. She also recently had a rare duet with Charli XCX on the remix for “Guess,” marking her first collaboration in six years.

This year’s Olympics have had their fair share of musical star power. The opening ceremony featured performances from Lady Gaga and Celine Dion, the latter of whom made a grand return to the public eye following her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome to give a powerful and emotional rendition of Edith Piaf’s “Hymne A L’Amour.” As the Olympics transpired, Taylor Swift and Beyoncé narrated advertisements in support of some of the athletes.
