Supergran star Gudrun Ure has died at the age of 98, according to reports. The Scottish actress is best known for her role in the children's TV series from the 1980s a gran with super powers. It originally ran from 1985 to 1987. Born in Campsie, Stirlingshire in Scotland, Gudrun also appeared in shows like Casualty and Midsomer Murders throughout her career, which began in 1951.

Remember Supergran, theme tune sung by Billy Connolly.” While another added: “Broken at this. A massive, massive part of my youth. When things were that bit more innocent. Sleep tight supergran.”
