The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards are just a few hours away.

The award show, which kicks off at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday night, will broadcast live across MTV, MTV2, BET, BET Her, CMT, CC, Logo, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, TV Land and VH1. But cable-cutters can also tune into the music-filled night on a variety of Live TV streamers, such as DirecTV, Sling TV, Fubo TV and Hulu + Live TV.

The best way to stream the 2024 VMAs live online is on DirecTV, currently offering a free trial.

Megan Thee Stallion serves as a first-time host for this year’s ceremony, which will take place at New York’s UBS Arena. The pre-show, hosted by Nessa, Dometi Pongo and Kevan Kenney starts at 6:30 p.m. ET, and will feature a performance from South Korean girl group Le Sserafim.

In addition to her hosting duties, the rapper will also perform during the ceremony, where she’s up for five awards for her self-titled album released in June. Her nods include best collaboration for “Wanna Be,” and best hip-hop, best direction, best visual effects and best art direction for “Boa.”

But the question on everyone’s minds: will Taylor Swift attend the 2024 VMAs? The singer most likely won’t perform or present at this year’s ceremony, but it is likely that she’ll be in attendance to celebrate her leading 10 nominations. That also means a likely Travis Kelce appearance, too.

Swift will compete against Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em,” Jack Harlow’s “Lovin On Me,” Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” and Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control.”

Those competing for artist of the year include Ariana Grande, Bad Bunny, Eminem, Sabrina Carpenter, SZA and Swift.
