Variety has announced programming for its annual Business of Broadway Breakfast, presented by City National Bank, on September 30 in New York

Variety has announced programming for its annual Business of Broadway Breakfast, presented by City National Bank, on September 30 in New York. The event, hosted by Cole Escola of “Oh, Mary!,” will celebrate the upcoming season of Broadway with conversations from cast members and directors of “Sunset Boulevard,” “Yellow Face,” and “Our Town.”

The Business of Broadway Breakfast will feature a keynote conversation with Nicole Scherzinger and Jamie Lloyd of “Sunset Boulevard” that will be moderated by contributing theater editor Gordon Cox.

The event will also include a keynote from Daniel Dae Kim and David Henry Hwang of “Yellow Face,” as well as one with Jim Parsons, Zoey Deutch, Michelle Wilson, and Ephraim Sykes of “Our Town.”

Additionally, a “Producers Panel” moderated by City National Bank’s Erik Piecuch will feature Hunter Arnold (“Maybe Happy Ending”), Mara Isaacs (“Gypsy”), Caroline Kaplan (“Redwood”), Sammy Lopez (“Job”).

Variety will also celebrate the individuals profiled in its 10 Broadway to Watch list, which will be published on Sept. 19. The list recognizes the artists on stage and behind the scenes enjoying a breakthrough year, including exciting talents in acting, writing, production and more.

“Broadway has long been an important part of Variety’s coverage and we are honored to again host this event featuring some of the biggest producers, directors, and actors of the upcoming season,” said co-editor-in-chief Ramin Setoodeh.
