A Tory candidate has said she was flashed by a constituent while out canvassing with her seven-year-old son.
Dame Andrea Jenkyns, who is standing in Leeds South West and Morley, said a man dropped his trousers after she approached his home on Friday evening.
She told The Telegraph that she reported the incident to the police on Friday night.
“My babysitter let me down tonight and so I took him out leafleting with me, she told The Telegraph.
“He literally came to the window and pulled down his trousers, and I was really upset by this.
“I went back to my manager and I said, ‘Do you know something? I’ve got to say something to him’.
“I thought this is not right. My tiger mummy mode kicked in and that’s when I went back.”
‘I said, ‘Come on you coward, come to the door’’
Dame Andrea, who was canvassing with party activists, said her son turned away from the man and did not see his genitalia.
She then returned to the house at 7.10pm and a woman opened the door.
