The 'Firework' singer, 39, who got engaged to the Pirates of the Caribbean star three years ago after forming a relationship over three years, is known for keeping her love life fairly private. Despite being world-famous figures, both Katy and Orlando choose not to broadcast details their personal affairs, especially pertaining to their marriage plans, which have been kept under wraps for the last half-decade.

In an unanticipated visit to BBC The One Show with hosts Alex Jones and Roman Kemp, Perry delved into talk her latest music project and surprisingly opened up her partnership with Bloom. She shared plans of spending more time within the UK capital with him.

Kicking off the discussion, Alex Jones enthused: "Our first guest has won her fair share of music awards over the years, making her one of the best selling female artists of all time."

Roman Kemp then chimed in: "Now Katy Perry is back with her new album," reports the Mirror. Bounding onto the set, Katy immediately embraced both Alex and Roman. Alex commented: "It's so nice to have you back, in one of your favourite places, London."

Katy disclosed her affection for the city: "It is one of my favourite places beyond Santa Barbara, where I live. Orlando and I spent so much time in London and lately we have been thinking maybe splitting our time. We love it so much."

She added excitedly: "We feel like you guys. We spent all day in Hyde Park yesterday and we went to the Princess Diana playground and it's just great for kids, it's amazing."

Speaking her highly anticipated album, Roman queried: "You have a new album coming out and it's the first in four years. Are you nervous what new music will do and how does it feel?"

Katy Perry opened up with excitement: "It feels great. I just put out my first song and I'm to put out my second song. I have a record coming out September 20th called one four three."
