But I recently climbed down into the strangest of rabbit holes that led me to a site called “tedmosbyisnotajerk.com”. I imagine it must be a rival to the ‘Ted Mosby Is a Jerk’ page. I don’t remember the television reference to this.
I dunno who started the site. Apparently it’s from the perspective of Victoria, one of the women Ted dated in the television show (he broke up with her twice). The site seems to rebuff anyone who believes Ted Mosby is a jerk.
The real jerk? That’s Conan O’Brien, according to the site.
According to one fake letter, Conan impersonated the main character from How I Met Your Mother and picked up a woman. After one rapturous night that included his string dance, Conan apparently never called this woman back.
And that’s why, according to this silly fake letter, Conan is a jerk. Not Ted Mosby.
I can empathise with whoever spent time building that site, if only because I spent a not-insignificant amount of time reading and trying to understand it.
