First, he’s extremely durable. Gore Jr. led Southern Miss in rushing yards in each of his four seasons and never missed a game. He finished with 4,022 rushing yards and 26 touchdowns.
Some of his biggest strengths though are in the nitty gritty. He’s got great vision and balance that allows him to make sharp cuts. Gore Jr. also has a tendency to fall forward through contact to gain extra yards.
Gore Jr. played special teams at Southern Miss, too.
One of the biggest concerns for Gore Jr. is his speed. He lacked breakaway potential at times, and that should only become more difficult in the NFL.
According to NFL.com, scouts are also skeptical his small catch radius and pass blocking. Gore Jr. caught 75 passes in his career for 692 yards and four touchdowns.
He has good lower-body strength, but he’s still small at 5-foot-8, 201 pounds.
