The Stranger Things star, 20, and the model, 22 who is the son of Jon Bon Jovi, secretly tied the knot in a wedding ceremony last weekend, has learned.
The pair — who sparked romance rumors in June 2021 when Bongiovi shared a selfie with the actress — first connected through Instagram. They “were friends for a bit” before they started dating, the actress told Wired in 2022.
Brown and Bongiovi then stepped out holding hands in New York City later that month. They also made several red carpet appearances together as a couple, including the 2022 BAFTA Film Awards and the season 4 premiere of Brown's Netflix series, and continued to share snapshots of their relationship on Instagram.
In 2023, the Enola Holmes star kicked off the new year by calling Bongiovi her “partner for life,” and, four months later, Bongiovi popped the question.
Brown announced the couple's engagement on Instagram on April 11 with a black-and-white photo of her and model embracing. The singer captioned the announcement with a line from Taylor Swift's "Lover”: "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all ????."
Several weeks later, Jon Bon Jovi gave his son his blessing on Radio Andy.
“I don't know if age matters,” the Bon Jovi frontman, 62, said of the young couple. “If you find the right partner and you grow together ... my advice really is growing together is wise. I think that all of my kids have found that they think they can grow together with and we like them all.”
"Millie is wonderful," the rock icon said, adding that his son is "very, very happy."

Following the engagement, Brown shared several wedding planning updates. In August 2023, she told Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) that she was finding the process "so fun," adding: "It’s such an exciting time in my life."
“I have one of those licenses to get married and Millie thought it’d be great and then Jake said it would be a great idea, so I wrote the wedding vows and they loved what I wrote for them to join hands and to become husband and wife,” Modine, 65, explained.
“It’s such a beautiful thing to be able to join two in holy matrimony,” he added.
