Princess Anne’s son Peter Phillips took a date to a horse-riding event just weeks after splitting from his long-term girlfriend.
This weekend, Peter Phillips was photographed hand-in-hand with NHS nurse Harriet Sterling at the Badminton Horse Trials.
On Saturday, the couple watched horse riding from a sponsor’s tent with Phillip’s two daughters, Savannah 13, and Isla, 12.
The next day, Phillips and Sterling looked in good spirits as they stood in a group and chatted with Queen Camilla.
A friend of Phillips said that the royal had “recently” met someone and that they had been “spending time together” but it was too early for anything more, according to the Telegraph.
Harriet Sterling, a paediatric nurse and freelance writer, looked relaxed at the trials wearing oversized black sunglasses and a blue dress.
The previous day, Sterling wore a maxi pink dress with flowery detailing matched with white trainers as the pair walked hand-in-hand across the grass.
A source told The Sun: “They looked completely smitten and he was grinning from ear to ear.
“He looked like the cat that got the cream and acted without a care in the world.”
It comes only a few weeks after Peter Phillips split up with his girlfriend of three years, Lindsay Wallace.
According to the Sun, Phillips and Wallace split after their relationship had “run its course” and it was believed that no one else was involved in the separation.
The King’s nephew had a serious relationship with Wallace who had been introduced to the Royal Family and invited to several public events including the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Phillips shares two children with his ex-wife Autumn Kelly; the couple ended their 13-year marriage in 2021.
It is understood that Phillips and Wallace became close after both of their marriages broke down.
Autumn still has a good relationship with members of the Royal Family and in the summer, she was pictured at a charity golf tournament with Peter’s sister, Zara Tindall.
Phillips spokesman, Gerard Franklin, declined to comment on Phillip's new relationship stating that it was a “private matter.”
